I've been so busy this last week getting everything straight and 'back to normal' after the festive period that I have barely had a chance to sit down. If this doesn't help shift the food and booze pounds then nothing will! I really want this year to be a bit calmer so i'm hoping this level of busyness doesn't last. I don't want to moan too much though, as I hate it when people always bang on about how hectic things are but don't change anything/bring it on themselves/seem to actually really enjoy it, so I will keep my trap tightly zipped as I am in danger of becoming one of them! I DO like being busy, but only if everything is in order and I get time to do everything I want to do
We have Freddie's birthday party to organise for the beginning of Feb (2! Yikes!) and we are also working on a little project as a present to him, which I hope to be able to post on the blog when it's finished. I am off out with the ladies on Saturday for the day for my friend Loui's 30th birthday celebrations, although I don't think I can say where yet as she might be reading and i'm not sure whether or not she knows where we're taking her! Hope to take my decent camera with me and get some lovely photos though, as i'll be buggy, and therefore, hands-free!
Even more exciting is I have booked to go to Berlin at the end of February for 3 days with some of the girls I lived with at Uni. I've never been before but heard nothing but good things, so if anyone has any tips/advice about places to go, then I would love to hear them!
Have a great week!
xx
PS My Dryathlon is going well so far, I feel uber-productive and got loads done yesterday with a clear head and without feeling sluggish BUT there are downsides. If i've had a great day, and if i'm knackered with it, I REALLY want a glass of wine to celebrate/wind down- anyone else get this?! I resisted, but was tough for a good hour or so after i'd put the kids to bed. I have bonded with Liptons peach ice tea again in place of wine, but it isn't quite the same!
