Sasha at 8 Months
Baby girl is 8 months today. 8 months! She is really asserting her little self now and becoming a proper madam. Mini-tantrums have sprung from nowhere, and if you take something off of her that she shouldn't have she goes nuts and extremely pouty (she doesn't take after me, oh nooooo!). Sasha is also at that frustrated stage that I remember Freddie going through at a similar age- can't quite crawl yet (The face goes down in the floor and bum in the air, and the rocking on the knees has been happening for quite a while now) and teething is still troubling her (still no teeth, can't WAIT for these to finally make an appearance). Sleeping still isn't great, but hey, we can deal with it. Especially when she gives a great, beaming smile (Daddy is a special sucker for this!). She is lots of fun now, and has started playing 'peepo' with us using a muslin that she holds up and down over her face, and always laughs hysterically when Freddie tries to make her laugh. It's so nice seeing them continue to interact well. Although we might have to discourage Freddie from balancing trains on her head, as witnessed in our kitchen the other day... the joys of having a brother eh?
