Making Dens

This afternoon, after naps, we were supposed to go out and about and run a few errands, but it was SO SO SO cold, I couldn't hack going out again  we decided to stay in. Those with babies and toddlers will know that this can mean a very long afternoon trying balance getting stuff done and entertaining small people who have the attention span of a nat. 

Enter

The DEN.

Made entirely from a giant, plain white bed sheet, it was draped over the kitchen table and kept both tiddlers amused for HOURS. Freddie insisted on having Sasha there too, which was sweet, and of course, moi (next time I would be more than happy to sit there for hours, if only I had a bell to ring for wine and canapes). Simple things eh?

If you haven't thought of something like this already, I thoroughly recommend it.
